Mia Hamm was born on March 17, 1972, in Selma Alabama. Mia was the fourth child of six children. Mia is 46 years old right now. She is an American retired professional soccer player, two-time Olympic gold medalist. She is also one of the two-time FIFA women's World Cup champion. She played for the united state national women's soccer team for 17 years. They won the national championship in 1981. Mia is best known for being the best female soccer player in history Mia retired soccer in 2004. Mia Hamm held the record for the most international goals scored by woman and man until 2013 and now she remains in third place. Mia Hamm has played from 1989 - 1993 on a college team. Mka was the player of the year for three consecutive years. Mia Hamm scored her first goal on the 17th appearance. Mia Hamm has won her second world cup in 1995 in a tournament in Sweden. Mia was a big part in U.S team at the summer Olympic games In Atlanta. Mia has won four world cups in her life in soccer. Mia Hamm scored the winning goal in the first game of the tournament.
