A Day in the Life Of A Male citizen

One day I was doing my casual work and then I hear my wife tell me that we have to go to the market. And I really didn’t want to go so I told her to take the slave he’s way better at choosing the food than me. She has to go with a male, and it’s not going to be me today, so they went to the market and I still have to get work done. When the slave and my wife get home I’m probably done my work. So I go upstairs and tell my wife to get the food ready, well I go out for some fresh air and meet my brother. I have to go to the market with him because he doesn’t have a wife and I don’t know why I have to go with him. If your wondering why everyone is going to the market is because today someone's going to get chosen to be in the council ( Win the lottery) and I pray it’s me. A few hours later everyone got called down to the main part of town, The whip was everywhere with the red paint on it. And I was hoping it was me it came so close and then, It hit my brother I was devastated but happy for him.

A Few Years Later

My brother in the council has changed my life, these past years have been the worst and the best. I didn’t have to go to the market twice a day I could only go once. And I could spend time with my slave and Female citizen. I do miss him I don’t see him as often but I’m pretty sure he’s happy. That evening someone was banging on my door, my wife answered my door and my brother was there calling for my name. I asked what was wrong and he said that he said something to the council and they chased him out of the place. I asked him what he said. He said He shouldn’t mention and so he ran back outside and kept running until I couldn’t see him. I tried to figure out what he said to them but it was stuck in my head I just couldn’t find it out.

That day I got an envelope that said R.I.P Basin Kristopher and I knew then what he said. He tried to say that he would rather die than work there and he did he died and now he paid the price. He was the only one left of my family so I was devastated. I told my slave Gritzie that he has to take care of My wife Erla while I’m sitting in bed crying. But then I wanted to go to my brother's favorite place. The Acropolis of Athens we always went there when we were kids. But the only good thing is that I’m spending a lot of time not worrying about him. I gave my slave a better life then he deserves because I learned that live the best life that you can and that’s being nice to my slave and giving my wife some red wine. She can’t live without wine so that’s why I’m getting her some. And she had to go to zeus house so I gave her some freshly made wine from our garden with some raspberries too. When she came home I was fast Asleep on the couch I was too lazy to do anything. So she came to me and told me too wake up and make more wine. And so I did and I made a lot so my wife Erla wouldn’t have to ask me for a while. And now we live a happy and thankful life with our slave.

The End
