Manon Rheaume was the first woman to ever play in the NHL. She signed a contract in 1992 for the Tampa Bay Lightning, she played 24 games in total in her career. She spent five years in the professional minor leagues and playing a total of seven teams, she wore the number 33. She was born in Lac Beauport, Quebec, on February 24 1972. She is 5 foot 7 and 130 lbs and brought a peewee girls team to the Tournoi International De Hockey Pee-wee De Quebec, the Little Caesars. She has a silver medal in the 1998 olympics, and won the IIHF woman's world championship in 1992.

Her parents are Betty DeGeneres and Elliott DeGeneres, her brother is Vance DeGeneres. Her wife Portia de Rossi she is 46 years old right now. Ellen got married to Portia in August 16 2008. Right now Ellen is 61 years old born on January 26 1958. On an almost daily basis she is reminding us to always be kind to each other with her random acts of kindness. Ellen is an LGBT activist, trying to make the world a better place everyday!

I picked Michelle Obama because she is an awesome person and she is Obama's wife and he did a lot so it is pretty cool.  she went to Harvard for law school. she was married in 1992 she has 2 daughters.

Ellen Lee DeGeneres is an American comedian, television host, actress, and LGBT activist. She starred in the popular sitcom Ellen from 1994 to 1998 and has hosted her syndicated TV talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, since 2003.Her stand-up career started in the early 1980s, and included a 1986 appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her parents are Betty DeGeneres, Elliott DeGeneres. Some quotes she said:  I really don't think I need buns of steel. I'd be happy with buns of cinnamon.Sometimes you can't see yourself clearly until you see yourself through the eyes of others.  These are just three Courage, Acceptance, Kindness, of the many qualities that Ellen purposely displays in the public in an effort to make the world a more caring place. Personally, anytime Ellen makes a responsive attempt to address an issue she feels passionate about or anytime she rewards people for their kindness, I feel inspired.

She is inspirational because of her song lyrics and she just tells people to keep pushing forward. This speaks to me because whenever I feel sad I keep in mind that everything will be ok and I need to push forward. She is 31 years old and was born February 20, 1988, and is still alive.

She is also referred to as the Queen of pop in the 1980s. Madonna is commonly known to push the boundaries of songwriting in popular music and the imaginary she uses in all her music videos. She has always reinvented her music and her image while maintaining it.

Then she tried different to do like being a drummer, a guitarist, and a vocalist for a band in the Breakfast club and Emmys, then Madonna was signed with the sire records in 1982. Then they released her eponymous debut album a year after. Then she made a series of successful album, including the world bestseller song called, "like a virgin ". then she made a bunch more song she kind of became inspirational for other people to try their best in singing I think, and I think that's all of it.

Tamika was born in Harlem New York in 1980. Tamika was first influenced by her home community. at a young age. Her parents were members of the Al Sharpton civil rights organization. When Tamika was 11 years old she joined the national action network because she wanted to solve issues that were going on making a change in the world. In 2011 she became the organizations youngest executives producer. when Tamika was 20 tragic event happened. Her son's father passed away by gun violence in 2001. This experience shook Tamika's life. In 2012 another mass shooting happened at the sandy hook elementary school that killed 20 students. Tamika tried to emphasize to create more solutions to gun violence. At the time Barak Obamas advisor said the Tamika was a leader of tomorrow and that motivated Tamika. today Tamika now continues to fight for more just to cure the gun violence in the world.

Emma Watson is a famous actress. The movie Harry Potter is the first movie when she became supper famous. She was Harmonie Grandger in Harry Potter. Emma was born in Paris, On April 5,1990. Emma was not only an actress she also played lots of sports like field hockey, tennis and rounders or netball. In school her favourite subjects are Art, History and English. She did not like Math and Geography. Emma Watson was never going to act professionally but her theatre teacher told her to audition for a Movie that was coming up, the movie was Harry Potter. She was 11 when she she auditioned for Harry Potter. She was best friends with everyone with Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint.  Emma was not only in one movie another movie she was in was Beauty and the Beast, The Perks of being a wallflower and lots more. Ever since Emma was a little kid she loved to sing and dance around she always knew she wanted to be an actress. Her child hood idols were Julia Roberts, Goldie Hawn and Sandra Bullock. She always dreamed about being in musicals. Emma also liked to read, but not as much as Harmonie Grander did.  At her school in Oxford she was on a feild hockey team she also did dance. Emma didn't get the role of Harmonie on her first audition, she had to audition seven times until she finally got the part.  There is one thing she passed on her first try it was her driving test, if it took her 7 tries to pass that she probably should not drive.

Wilma Glodean Rudolph was born on 1940, June 23rd in Saint Bethlehem, Tennessee. She became a world record holding Olympic champion. Wilma Rudolph was the first woman to win 3 gold metals. She became a role model for black and female athletes and her Olympic successes helped elevate women's track and field in the United States. for a long time she had problems walking and soon she figured out she had brain and throat cancer but fought it off for a long time.She died a sudden death of brain cancer and throat cancer in 1994, But still a role model for black woman athletes around world.

She is an American retired professional soccer player, two-time Olympic gold medalist. She is also one of the two-time FIFA women's World Cup champion. She played for the united state national women's soccer team for 17 years. They won the national championship in 1981. Mia is best known for being the best female soccer player in history Mia retired soccer in 2004. Mia Hamm held the record for the most international goals scored by woman and man until 2013 and now she remains in third place. Mia Hamm has played from 1989 - 1993 on a college team. Mka was the player of the year for three consecutive years. Mia Hamm scored her first goal on the 17th appearance. Mia Hamm has won her second world cup in 1995 in a tournament in Sweden. Mia was a big part in U.S team at the summer Olympic games In Atlanta. Mia has won four world cups in her life in soccer. Mia Hamm scored the winning goal in the first game of the tournament.

Mia is known for being the best female soccer player in history. Mia had to wear corrective shoes as a toddler after being born with a clubfoot. Mia joined her first soccer team Where her father coached her and her newly adopted brother Garret. She started playing sports at a very young age, she excelled as a football player on the boy's team. She also broke the all-time international goal record.  Mia's position in soccer is a midfielder and a forward. Mia is not only a professional soccer player she is also a global ambassador.

The inspiring women I choose was Mia Hamm. Mia was born in Selma, Alabama on March 17,Mia is a professional Soccer player, but that's not why I choose her. I choose her because all her life she wanted to be a professional soccer player but people told her she could never be as best as the boys. She definitely proved them wrong over the years Mia has gotten over 158 goals and 142 assists. Mia is one of the best soccer player in the would and is a huge inspiration to girls. she sends a beautiful message that you can be any thing you want to be no matter what anyone says. Mia has visited a lots of children hospitals to give donations and to give blood and to simply talk with them. Mia has now retired and is enjoying her life with her three kids Garrett, Ava, and Grace and her husband Nomar. Mia is a huge inspiration to me and all girls.
